The Prayer

Our Father we thank Thee
For this the Lord's day,
For the freedom of worship
For the power to pray.

We thank Thee dear Father
For saving the lost,
For without Thee, in death
We know "hell" is the cost.

Dear Father watch over
And guide us each day,
That we as Your followers
May show others the way.

We pray for the sick
And those so depressed,
May they somehow find strength
And their hearts be at rest.

We pray for our loved ones
So scattered they be,
Such a home we've all shared
We're so thankful To Thee!

Dear God in the closing
Of this prayer today,
I ask for forgiveness
In my going astray.

Please clean up my body
Give me Faith once again
May we rest till tomorrow
This I pray now....amen.
