Welcome to MsBeast's Lair. These pages are a collection of things I've done
over the years I've been online. I'm very consistent about re-writing my site
completely and I'm in the process of doing it right now. What you see here, is
my new "main" page. At least as much of it as I've got done. Eventually, the
menu below will be replaced by a drop-down style menu so this page won't be
quite so long. In the meantime, I'll put some of my "About Me" information right
here.
People are always asking about my site's name. Why MsBeast? We'll just say
for now, that I'm not really a "beast." Honest I'm not. But the name came from a
combination of my name and initials. As for the Lair, the dictionary defines a
lair as the den or dwelling of a beast as well as a hideaway. This is my home on
the web, and also my hideaway, so therefore, it's my Lair. Make sense?
For now, most of the graphics on my pages are from some very artistic people.
As I'm re-writing the pages, I'm also making the graphics for the pages (except
for some very special pages). You'll see at the bottom of this page, credit has
been given to Graphics by Lady Barbara. Well, that's also me. Click on the link
for the credit, and you'll find my other cyber home. On the majority of the pages
done by others credit will be given to the person who made the graphics. Unfortunately, some of the links are no longer valid and I can't find their new site (if there is one) with my favorite search engines. If you recognize any of these graphics as belonging to someone to whom I have not given credit, please e-mail me with a valid URL and I'll be more than happy to give the appropriate credit due.

My Mother - a very beautiful poem done by a friend of mine in loving tribute to her mother. I include this here to give tribute to all mothers everywhere. Happy Mother's Day every day.

Nurse's Prayer - I said this prayer the day I graduated from nursing school (at age 38). It means a lot to me and brings back some terrific memories.
